Today I started receiving this error when trying to start IIS on my workstation:
The Process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070020)
After launching my blog I realized that I needed a way to password a page, but soon discovered there was no option for it, so I decided to create a plugin. With the plugin installed, all you need to do is set the password in the page form. You can view a demo of it in action on this page. The password to access the demo page is "pageprotect" (without the quotes). The plugin currently only supports setting passwords on pages but I may modify it to support posts as well in the future. Check it out and let me know what you think.
You can download the plugin here.
I created the theme for this blog and thought I'd share it. It is created a little differently than most other themes out there. It uses custom tags to handle most of the layout to avoid code duplication throughout the theme files. Check it out and let me know what you think.
You can download it here.

My first ever post.
So this is my first blog post. It's been a long time coming for sure. I've been involved in web development and the Internet since 1994.
I plan to blog about web development primarily but will certainly be blogging about other things as they happen. :)
Hopefully the ride won't be too boring...
